In Haryana
there are 116 Development blocks. The govt. of Haryana has desired
that at least 4-5 Panchayats in each Block take up the plantation
of Jatropha on the cammon(shamlat) land dep. Sulred to availability
of total land with a Gram Panchayat, but it should not be Less
than 5 acres. So far Deptt. Of
Panchayat has received the reports from 12 districts out of
19. Rest of the districts would be sending their reports quickly.
In 12 districts of which reports have been received 146 G.P
have planed the Jatropha plants in 820 acres.
