Wellherb Oils is a complete Bio-Fuel & Renewable Energy company based in Jaipur. Its principal goals are to be a pioneer in India in producing Bio-Diesel & promoting Jatropha in India by providing production & cultivation technology for same. In so doing, we hope to reduce vehicular pollution in cities and provide a source of steady income and employment to the indigenous tribal people and small farmers in rural areas.

By realizing the importance of Jatropha, in meeting the interest of poor farmers in particular & public in general we have also joined hands with a non-profit, non-government organization SRIPHL (SOCIETY FOR RURAL INITIATIVESFOR PROMOTION OF HERBALS) devoted for achieving a sustainable balance between food and income and environmental quality and improving life standard of rural farmers and ensuring resources for future. We have undertaken the pioneering work of promoting Jatropha plantation- the promising Bio-Fuel crop on a large scale on wastelands/farm land in India with a mission "GREENING THE EARTH.. . EARNING THE RESOURCES FOR RURAL MASSES". We are desirous to change the deserts destiny into Green Gold Mine and uplift the standard of life of rural farmers.

Our Greenfield Bio-Fuel Project:

Our company comprises of two complimentary divisions namely :
1) Plantation Division & 2) Bio-Diesel Production Division.

1) Plantation Division:

We are already doing plantation of Jatropha in 30 Bighas at Rajaldesar area of CHURU district. We are also doing plantation for Indian Railways in Kharagpur (W.B).

2) Bio-Diesel Production Division:

The Bio-Diesel will be produced in a new refinery using oil from trees (such as Jatropha curcus, Pongamia, Neem, Mauwa ), other non-edible vegetable oils, fatty acids, acid oils & used cooking oils.

Ø Location: The plant will come up in South Rajasthan (subject to availability of infrastructure), closer to Tribal & Rural area.

Ø Capacity: Initially a Pilot plant of 1 tonn/Day will come up. We expect the proposed plant to be running very soon. Our main plant will have a capacity of 25 tonnes of Bio-Diesel per day with plans to expand capacity in few years. This plant is proposed to come up in Dec 2005.

Ø Raw Material: The Basic raw material would be oil from the seeds of Jatropha & Pongamia, which are found in abundance in South Rajasthan. In addition our plantation division will ensure study supply of raw material.

Ø Technology Infrastructure: Our technology provider for main plant will be IOCL & Biodiesel Industries, Santa Barbara, USA.

Ø Seal of Approval: Wellherb Oils proposed product have the approval of the following entities:

Unique Social Benefits of Our Project:

Ø It Empower Rural Farmers To 'Trade- Out Of Poverty' Through Commercial, Renewable And Sustainable Agro- Forestry Farming
Ø The project shows concern for the social & economic well-being of tribals, landless farmers & women with plans to engage them for collecting Jatropha & Pongamia seeds & assisting them in extracting oil by investing in oil expellers in the project site.
Ø The project will avoid equivalent of 25,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide through the use of Bio-Diesel in transport & by plantations.

Ø Micro Power Generation models from Bio-Diesel will be put up at remote village pockets. Thus giving boost to rural electrification.

Wellherb has acquired land in Jamdoli Area of Jaipur to put up a nursery & tissue culture development center. The Company has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated biotechnologists & environmental experts who will ensure success of Rajasthan's first Bio-Diesel project.
